1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage) that Ophraxx AI uses on our website and web applications. We use only first-party cookies—set and read by our own systems. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Our cookie practices apply to the web experience (sign-in, profile, settings, security); our conversational bot in connected spaces does not set cookies on your device—it operates server-side under our control.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

All cookies we set are first-party and fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary (essential): Required for the website and web app to function. These include session and authentication cookies (so you stay signed in), CSRF tokens (to prevent cross-site request forgery), and similar security-related values. Without these, login, account management, and secure form submission would not work. We do not offer an option to disable essential cookies while using the Service.
  • Preference cookies: Remember your choices (e.g. theme, language, or display options) so you do not have to reconfigure them on each visit. Disabling these does not prevent use of the Service but may reset your preferences.
  • Operational and security cookies: Support security, load balancing, abuse prevention, and operational analytics (e.g. understanding how our own product is used so we can improve it). Data is used only by us and is not shared for advertising or sold. We may use a first-party cookie to remember that you have completed two-factor authentication on a given device so we do not re-prompt you unnecessarily.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cookies that share data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Local Storage and Similar Technologies

We may use browser local storage or session storage for the same purposes as cookies (e.g. storing a preference or a temporary token). Such data is stored only on your device and is read only by our own scripts on our domains. We do not use local storage for tracking across sites or for advertising.

4. Duration and Scope

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be set with a maximum lifetime (e.g. 30 days for a 2FA verification cookie) so that we can remember your choices or verification state without requiring you to re-authenticate on every visit. Cookie scope is limited to our domains; we do not set cookies on other sites.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies by site or by category. Please note:

  • Blocking or deleting essential cookies will prevent sign-in, session persistence, and other core website features from working correctly.
  • Blocking or deleting preference and operational cookies may reset your preferences or require you to re-verify 2FA more often; it will not prevent you from using the Service.

We do not currently offer an in-product cookie preference center; cookie management is done via your browser. If we introduce a preference center in the future, we will describe it here and in our Privacy Policy.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, communicated via our website or policy index. Your continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For more on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy and Other Policies.
